Shane has been training in free style karate since 2002 and has reached the rank of Sensei 3rd Degree and has been instructing for 10 years.

He started his martial arts training in 1995 with Taekwondo under the umbrella of Grandmaster Young Youl Oh. He trained in this style for 4 years. During this time he competed in numerous tournaments and spent 12 months as assistant instructor.

He holds a current Australian Sports Commission accreditation along with being Level 1 Referee with ISKA, working with children check and is first aid qualified.

Shane is skilled in multiple weapons including the bo staff, nunchaku and katana and has competed in numerous ISKA tournaments.

His teaching philosophy revolves around respect, confidence, self-defence, fitness and to guide students on their individual path.
