Steve has enjoyed studying and training martial arts since 1991 and became an instructor in 2000. A skilled practitioner in freestyle karate, Steve is a trophy winner in NAS and ISKA tournaments. He is skilled and trained in multiple martial arts weapons such as bo, nunchaku, knife and katana.

It is a passion of Steve’s to see his students rise through the ranks in leaps and bounds, achieving their own goals as a martial artist. He is qualified in First Aid and has instructing certification from the Australian Sports Commission. Steve instructs from the Sunbury dojo (training facility).
